I was getting bored of my 3 years old ipod nano and was thinking of getting a new mp3 player. Just as I was shopping around, an email came informing me that I was picked by Ripplevox to take part as a trial user for Samsung latest range of MP3 players.
I was both shocked and amazed by the technology that this baby came with. The YP-T10 came with Bluetooth function. That means no more wires! How cool can that be.
Design And Colour
Samsung YP-T10 comes in 5 colours namely Midnight Black, Mystic Purple, Maple Red, Lime Yellow and White Cloud. Since I was just a trial user, no bargaining chips here. I would prefer a White Cloud actually.

The trial set comes with a Bluetooth Headset SBH500

Functionality
The T10 is also equip with a 2-inch colour LCD display which seems to be the norm for MP3 players. Comparing with Ipod Nano, I would still prefer the design of Nano. The edges are kind of rough when handling it.
Did I mention that the T10 lets you play movies on it? A full charge lets me use up to 30 hours of music and 4 hours of movie. Nice huh?
Instead of a scroll wheel like the Nano, T10 comes with touch sensitive keypad commonly found on mobile phones. High tech enough?
Pair with the Bluetooth headset SBH500 and I can control the playback via the Headset while the T10 is safely inside my pocket.

Improvement opportunities
There is still room for improvement in terms of design. It’s shape is unique but the edges are rough to touch.
Overall Likes & Dislike
I am seriously consider this as an alternatives to Ipod or Creative. The functions that I cannot live without are available in T10. Bluetooth, Radio, Able to play Movies and Touch Sensitive keypads. What more can I ask for?
Oh well maybe just reduce the sensitivity of the keypad. It is just too sensitive. Many times I move to a different menu on the T10 without me knowing.
