Gambling is in the news lately with Singapore Integrated Resort on the way. This move has shocked the community as most of them consider gambling to be evil. the Singapore Government took great pains in convincing the people that having an Integrated Resort with casinos are not all evil. Think about the jobs that will be created with the increased number of tourist that will visit Singapore? There are more benefits to gain for Singaporean.

Before the Integrated Resort comes our way, we can take a look at online casino. Gambling online has a total new meaning altogether. You can gamble whenever you want. But which online casino are reliable and not out to cheat your money?

I was reading the forum on Saturday and find this particular contribution “civil servants should be seen to earn their bonus” by Miss Lee Soon Chin very amusing and entertaining. She was asking if all civil servants are paid the same three months plus $220 for good performers and 3.3 months plus $220 for better performers. What criteria did the civil service used to distinguish “not so good” performers from the “good” and “better” ones?

I was actually expecting this from the private sector. After all it was announced that the private sector was not going to use the government bonus as benchmark this year. Thus a majority of Singaporean might not be getting a big fat bonus this year even though the economy growth was better than last year. Did it sparked off some envy and jealousy? You be the judge yourself.

So I came up with my own 3 reasons why civil servants did not deserve the 2 months bonus.

  • Public funds are wasted with the redundant enhancement of security during IMF meetings. Not to mention the security checks on MRT and Changi Airport.
  • Instead of having to start work at 8am and ends at 6pm, they have two shift of civil servants working round the clock. Waste of public funds again.
  • Last but not least we don’t see the private sector paying bonus in March, July and December. So why should civil service be getting any?

What other possible reasons could you think of? Let’s share.

Are we living in a borrowed life? Take a look at the amount of bad credit loans that was written off  by the bank each year? How many young executives had declared bankruptcy due to overspending? We borrowed from banks and financial institution just to live the life we wanted. Living in a big apartment, drive a big fancy car, living life on the high way. With inflation at it’s highest, where can people with bad credit turn to?

Good news for us, there are sites which offer help to people with bad credit. One of them that you should look at is badcreditoffers.com One thing that I like about the site is that you can compare which bank and financial institution has the best deals for the day. With this feature, why take up the first offer from banks that comes in the mail? They not only offer different loans to suit our different needs, we can repair our credit when we pay back on time. Isn’t that wonderful?

For those that are looking at loans but can’t get it from local banks because of bad credit, take a look at the badcreditoffers.com

Advertlets have surprised the Singapore blogging community time and time again with money earning opportunities. Just a week back, Josh from Advertlets had announced a CPM campaign which they would serve ads to everyone in their network. The amount your earn depends on the traffic to your blog. More traffic means you get to earn more. Now, he is back with another surprise.

The first 100 Singaporean blogger to install a 336 X 240 rectangle ad format would be credited with $15 to their account.

The reason being is that Advertlets is EXPANDING the Singapore network. There are more advertisers who are interested to place ads on the Singapore network and Advertlets is closed to selling out their inventory. Since the supply outstripped the demand, it is only logical to expand and cater to more blogger in Singapore.
