Which One to Use?

There are so many shopping cart software out on the market for me to chose. I wonder which ecommerce software would actually suit my shopping cart?

Should I stick to the leader in the market or just pick up any cheap shopping cart software available off the shelves. There are simply too much choices.

I am considering Ashop Commerce next on my list. This company is based in the US and are among the leaders in the industry. From what I have gathered on their site, they do come with a long list of features. Some which I don’t even know if I would make use of. They even have different price packages to suit their customers. Isn’t that great? One thing I like about them is that I have a 10 day trial before I make any decision to get their service. Isn’t that wonder. Now I can compare it with other ecommerce software providers out there before I make the big decision.

You ought to be shot if you don’t know this baby. He is the National Treasure of all the bikers dream. Every part of him is carefully hand crafted. The roar of his engine is enough to make riders give way to him.

Wish I can own that National Treasure and ride him down Orchard Road someday.

Year end bonus are coming. It’s a good time to plan for my long deserved holiday with it. Should I travel further this time? Europe sounds good to me actually. But having to go through the planning just take the joy out of it. I have to search for my own air ticket and hotels.

Maybe I should leave all the planning to the tour agency. It just make life easier for me and BB. There is just a small little detail which I hate about. They are more expensive. Good deals does not come in cheap package. Sourcing for a hotel online takes time. There are just too many sites which promises cheap room but does not deliver. Heard from my friends that last minute deals are usually the best deals.

Does anyone know any been to hoteles en Paris? It’s a well known place for honeymoon-ers and I would love to bring my BB there. Or any hoteles en España then? Any suggestions on that? Making two stops during the trip just made my planning a nightmare. Where can I find cheap hotels in Europe and save myself all the hassle?

The cat was out of the bag. The truth was told to the mass of supporters. I could no longer stay in the dark to sing my praise for the latest company to join the blog advertising scene. We all know who we were. No one was safe anymore.

It was a simple mistake by a new staff member which jeopardize the whole operation. She was anxious to bring the good news to everyone in the organisation. In her haste, the mistake was made. An email was send out by Blog2U without hiding the supporters of Blog2U.

Thanks to that innocent mistake, our covers were all blown. Our undercover days were gone. We all knew who we were working for. Would this little mistake make it easier for us to work towards our common goal? Would we be able to squeeze more moola juice from Blog2U? Only time would tell.

Too much James Bond movies lately. Paddy had done an great job on the damage control area which other companies failed miserably. If you have no idea what is Blog2U. Please head down to their site and find out out more.

Christmas is just round the corner with shopping malls and department stores having their end of year sales. Every where I go, the spirit of Christmas is in the air. Carols, Christmas trees, Santa…

Choosing a present for your loved ones are not easy task. It has to be special. And every year I have lots of trouble getting that perfect gift. I even have problems remembering what did I get her for last year.

There is this particular present I loved to get BB as a present but it is too pricey. Even with a 20% discount, I can’t afford it. My pay check is two weeks away. By then it would be too late. I needed a payday loan desperately. I know it sounds stupid getting a loan just to buy a present for BB but it is definitely worth it to see that smile on her face.

There are many sites online which offer cash advance and this site, cashadvance1500 is just what I need. The site compile a list of other sites which can loan me the cash to get that present. I can pay back the loan once I receive my paycheck!

Isn’t that wonderful!

Did it ever occur to you that someday, your job might be stolen by them? I had never thought of this before as our Government have strict rules on the number of foreign workers a company can hire. But after reading this article from Sunday Times send shivers down my spine. Our children are competing with them for a place in school and now, I have to cross swords with them.

They are every where, from different industries. From factories, constructions, sales, retails, food etc.. When you walk into a steamboat restaurants in Bugis, chances of the waiter/waitress serving you are from China. After all, the owners are from China themselves.

How about when you go shopping at department stores like Isetan Scotts? They are there as well. Any place or industries that you can think of which are not infested by them? I can’t think of any.

Taken from Sunday Times.

The Sunday Times visited 23 coffee shops and foodcourts in the past week and found China workers serving in at least eight eateries. At a coffee shop in Braddell, up to 10 of the 25 employees were China nationals.

I am very rude and harsh here because they are taking away our jobs, our rice bowls. I am not spreading my hate for this foreigners. They are earning a decent living after all but given a choice, would you as an employer hire a local to be a cleaner or a foreigner who are asking for a lower wage, are younger and can work longer hours? Think about it. The threats are real!

With the Government increasing the CPF draw out date, it means that Singaporean have to work longer and harder just to retire in comfort. With the rate that inflation is going, do you think we can retire in comfort 30, 40 years from now?

The question of getting re-employment when we are 50 years old becomes an issue. Even if we lower our expectations and want to find a job in a fast food restaurant or cleaner, will the company hire us? It just make so much sense to hire a foreigner who are younger, ask for lower wages and able to work much longer hours compare to a 50 year old Singaporean.

Our Government encourage us to upgrade ourselves and be more competitive. Is that feasible for senior citizens to fight off the threat coming from foreign workers from China, India, Bangladesh and Malaysia?

The latest news of the Rottweiler Attack. The Owner being prosescuted by AVA.

Madam Satpal Kaur, owner of the five Rottweiler that attacked a Jack Russell would be facing prosecution by Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority (AVA). Investigation turns out that the five dogs had attacked a visitor to their home prior to the latest attack on the Jack Russell.

The visitor, a friend of the youngest son of Madam Satpal Kaur, required 10 stitches on his right arm and shoulder as well as a 2 1/2 weeks of medical leave. His injury was quite serious considering that stitching was needed.

The owner lied to the AVA that the dogs never attacked anyone before. I guess this was the reason why AVA decided to prosecute her. Her attempt to save the fate of the Rottweiler being put down by had created more troubles for herself.

Right now, she faces the maximum penalty of up to $50,000 for all the five dogs. The maximum fine for not leashing and muzzling them in public places is $5,000 per dog per offence. I didn’t even know such a rule exist prior to this report. So it is a must to leash and muzzle big dogs such as Rottweiler in public places. Other breeds include Bull Terrier, Doberman Pinscher, German Shepherd, Belgian Shepherd and the East European Shepherd. Owners of big dog breeds please do take note of such rules.

Besides prosecution by AVA, Madam Satpal Kaur had to worry about Mr David Ow taking legal action against her as well. He had fell and hurt himself while trying to fight off the attacks. His Jack Russell suffered at least six puncture wounds which required stitches.

AVA had took this matter seriously as weeks before the attacks, a man raised the alarm on the five Rottweilers. AVA at that time investigated and allowed Madam Satpal Kaur to keep all of them instead of sending two away.

When such attacks happen, don’t blame the dogs. Put the blame on the owners instead and that is exactly what AVA is doing right now, after the attacks have happened. It is kind of sad to put the dogs down as according to an expert, the puppies are still young and can be trained. Maybe some kind souls will take the dogs in?

Do you think AVA is  as responsible as the owners for the attacks? If they did not allow Madam Satpal Kaur to keep all five of the dogs, maybe all this may not have happened. What are your views?
